Labour Law Programme (LLP)

This is a practical programme offered in collaboration with the CCMA. It is developed for comrades that will represent workers in dismissal related labour law matters from disciplinary hearings to the labour court.

This programme compliments the more comprehensive and legally focussed advanced certificate in labour law. It is recommended that prospective learners with limited practice experience in labour law attend this programme as a step up course to the advanced certificate.

This is a very practically orientated and skills based Programme.

It contains modules which are credit bearing in the following Qualifications

Upon successful completion learners are issued with a certification of module content completion. Should candidates wish to be awarded credits they shall need to complete assessment tasks successfully including sitting exams where necessary.

This is a block format programme and lectures generally run from 8.30am to 5 pm.

Dates: February -November 2017

Days required to attend module instruction: 27

Registration cost: R1 500

Semester cost: R4 784 (5% discount)

Quarter cost: R2 518

Applications must be submitted by 15 February 2017


Should there be sufficient demand during 2017 a daytime block based programme can be arranged.

The modules presented and running Dates

NCB is Non Credit Bearing. There are class assignments and examinations for credit bearing modules. Minimum numbers of applications must be reached in order for the programme to run on the indicated dates. In this instance the minimum number is 16 learners.
